Fantastic Beach Getaway at The Fire Island Beach House! We recently stayed at The Fire Island Beach House with a group of 8, ranging in ages 12-40 years old and it exceeded all our expectations. We had a bungalow that was perfect for our group size. The food was outstanding, with a variety of delicious options that catered to all our tastes. The immaculate pool area was a highlight, offering great vibes and a relaxing atmosphere. The beach was absolutely beautiful and just a short walk from our bungalow, making it easy to enjoy the sun and surf whenever we wanted. One of the great features was the availability of bikes to rent right out front, which made it convenient to head into Ocean Beach for ice cream and shopping. There were also several other restaurants in close proximity, giving us plenty of dining options to explore. The location of the hotel is fantastic, just a short 5-minute walk to the ferry, making our arrival and departure a breeze. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and we highly recommend The Fire Island Beach House for anyone looking for a relaxing beach getaway.
Just got home from staying two nights at the Fire Island Beach House. Staff was amazing, so courteous and personable! The luggage handlers were so sweet and helpful and the manners on all the young staff working were absolutely impeccable. Everyone was interested in making sure the guests were having a nice time. Cleaning staff is also so friendly and hardworking. They do an amazing job. Food was really good and the drinks were great. Room was impeccable everything was brand new and the pool was so great to have on site to hang out with the kids after a day at the beach. I’ve stayed at this place when it was the fire island hotel and this is a million miles away from what it used to be. The turf and polywood furniture all Around the property is such a nice touch. We loved staying here so much we booked a return stay at the beginning of September. The owners are doing an amazing job of turning this place around and support staff is top notch. Can’t wait to get back there and relax by the pool with the kids in September ! Family friendly but can also be a couples getaway. Lots of longe chairs and great beach towels.
My partner booked us for an extended weekend. It was wonderful! Helpful and accomodating staff. Lovely rooms. This small resort is definitely on the upper tier of Fire Island hotel lodging. A seemless experience on a well run ship. We will be back. The staff must be so happy working here! See you next year!
Excellent hotel with a great bar, pool side service and menu. We were celebrating our friends birthday with a large crowd and we all had our seperate rooms but were able to party and hang out. Quick walk to the beach from the back of the hotel. It rained one day while we were there but the large tent on site allowed us all to get together, play corn hole and keep the festivities going!!! We will be back.
I arrived, with two friends, for mid week one night stay. Tucked away in Ocean Bay Park, the room was excellent and quite large for three of us. Wouldn’t want to stay on weekend bc I don’t think service would be good. Big Negatives: beach chairs were horrible! Need to step up the beach chairs. Also, no mini refrigerator at all! Come on? Rent bikes across from the ferry and hotel will delivery your luggage to ferry @ day of departure, nice service.
Spent a few days here with my family and loved it! The location just next to the beach for the kids and then hanging out at the pool in the afternoon. Little something for everyone. The DJ by the pool on the weekends is great too. We stayed in one of the Bungalows and loved the private deck and outdoor shower. Great place to spend a few days and unwind. Pairing up a Rocket Fuel with some of the thin crust pizzas definitely was a plus. After speaking with some of the owners who were attentive at the property, I can't wait to see the additional improvements made over the winter for next season! Its amazing what they've done in such a short time, especially since the pandemic.
